Hello!
Growing up in the Catskill mountains, the wide open woods of upstate New York became my first playing space. Forests and fields were the first stages for my stories, and broken-off branches my first swords. Though a part of me will always be at home in the woods, the education, collaboration, and community I have found in Philadelphia and NYC are irreplaceable.
I believe in living as a “Work-in-Progress.” To me, that means embracing that growth is never over and releasing the need to be a perfect, finished product. As artists and individuals, learning is a constant part of our journey, and trying to choose exploration over perfection has allowed me to lead with curiosity and joy. Creatively, this has lead me to physical theatre, ensemble work, stage combat, and bringing classical texts into the contemporary world.
There’s always something keeping me busy! Ask me about my axe and knife throwing, carpentry, juggling attempts, or my days on the softball field. Or perhaps my speed-haiku-writing, stage combat training, sock puppet-ing, or yo-yo-ing journey! (Maybe not the yo-yo yet. That one’s pretty new). I’d love to connect to see what we can make together!
